Thanks, but Harry does not belong to my branch of the family as far as I know.

I'm the daughter of William (Bill) Briscoe died 1962-he was Deputy Lord Mayor 61-62.He was the son of William and Alma Briscoe. Grandad was one of 11 children all born in Aston.

Hi Lyn,

I do know Alan Briscoe but the branch of the family I am trying to find out more about lived at "1 Back of 66 Paddington St." from around 1927 to 1960. They were Sophia and Joseph who raised 8 children, the youngest being David born in 1927. Joseph died in 1959 and I think Sophia moved out of the area. I know it is a long shot but I was hoping someone might remember them so I could find out what life might have been like for them.

Regards

Ann

Hi Barb,

Unfortunately I have no evidence of a William in my family tree. I can't believe there were so many unrelated Briscoe's around in Aston.
