Hi - does anyone have photos of the Board Inn, and even more of one of the landlords, Jmaes Donovan.

Huge thanks

The Board Inn was at 4 Mary Ann St.

He is recorded in Kellys as follows (year is publication year, and probably refers to year before):

1888 and 1890 No mention in Kellys

1892- 1895 beer retailer 4 Mary Ann St

1896 Not mentioned

As he is referred to as a beer retailer the pub would have been a beerhouse, licensed to only sell beer and cider on the premises.

The position of the Board Inn is in red on the map below
