  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I 'inherited' a tiny booklet which is partly a calendar from 1942 from this organisation.
I'd never heard of it, so looked it up:

It sounds quite admirable.

The booklet contains a lot of information, including on the inside of the back cover, a page on 'How to Recognise War Gases,' which is terrifying.

Had any one heard of the organisation?
Not sure if this is quite the right thread, as it wasn't strictly speaking a home.
