  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

The city museum has inaugurated a project, supported by the Arts council who are supplying the funds, to document some of the many trades of Birmingham. Tessa Chynoweth has been given the task of cataloguing the items in the museum associated with the city and presenting a selection, together with background material. I met Tessa at a meeting a few weeks ago and will later be discussing Cadbury items with her (though not till early next year). I also provided some adverts demonstrating how Alfred Bird was not just into Custard.
It looks an interesting project, which will provide more information on the city's industries and hopefully generate interest in Birmingham's heritage.
