Birmingham factories TV program

Elmdon Boy

Does anybody remember a television show in the early 1960s which went round various factories. It was a light entertainment show with resident singers and a band, plus usually a guest celebrity. It was filmed each week in a different factory or workplace I'm sure in Birmingham. The resident band may have been The Jerry Allen Trio, From Lunchbox fame. One of the guests one week was Russ Conway.
I remember one week it was filmed in Hanger 1 at Elmdon airport with the aircraft as a backdrop.
Anybody remember the name of the program and who the resident compare was.
I think it went out on a Sunday teatime so was not live.
