  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

those buses did race around Birmingham much quicker

Cricky they certainly bombed around. I did notice a 55 I wonder if Michael was driving it! He drove 55 and 56's in the 60's!:)
 
In the early seventies, working one man/woman on crew timings on the 14,55 and 28's to keep to time, you only had two speeds, flat out and stop.
 
I rather suspect the film to video transfering has accidently speeded the rate these buses were travelling at, bur really nice shots and sound as well.

Did anyone notice the BCT Daimler with the non standard "Tin front" more akin to the later Daimlers?
