  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I was loaned a very good book over the weekend, entitled as above, by Alton Douglas, published by Brewin Books. ISBN 1-85858-085-4. It contains many photographs and interesting advertisements.
 
Thanks for your reply Sue, I didn't realize how many world famous celebrities visited Birmingham.

I have this book too roverman and a couple more by Alton Douglas. Loaned one to my neighbor Joan and she found a photo of her uncle in it. Jean.
