  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Back Eagle Place

I suspect (seeing surname) that the hint was to do with this cutting. Eagle place was off Ladywood road, (earlier named ladywood lane). I assume back Eagle Place had disappeared by the time of the 1889 map , probably when Morville St was built

That looks right, the only road name on the form is Ladywood lane but it's several rows below the back eagle bit.
That Mrs Gibson in the news report is probably, more than likely, my great +++ grandma, she is listed a head of the household so I'd guess widowed from Peter Gibson.
