Another day

Velvety inky blackness of the night

Slowly merges into dawning light

Yesterday now gone into the past

A brand new history page is cast

A new day waiting for the sun to rise

Will hold for each a sweet surprise

A fresh start with renewed hope

With strength were able to cope

The has sun reached its height of day

What balm - what life is in its ray

Then as the sun dips in the sky

If only the world would give peace a try

Where is messenger of dear delight

Whose voice dispels the deepest night

Whose hand will soothe our every pain

So no wish unsatisfied will remain

Sweet peace the self declaring dove

No more wars whose only task is love

Perfection John- There is so much sadness in news events lately and we certainly need
hope to face the tomorrows with our heads held high and our spirits in good shape.
This poem does it for me. Thanks.
