  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Anderson Shelters in existence today

Just wanted to ask out of interest how many members still have an Anderson Shelter in their back garden? I have one that is dilapidated now, but if things go to plan, I will soon be having another one under my radar. I'm starting to think there are more in existence than I originally thought.

Hello Andrea. I Deleted a post that was about me working for the council. digging up shelters and removing them. they had become dangerous ..People Were cutting themselves and blaming the council. also, a link that was copied #4 so 2 was not needed. take a pic with the phone of the shelter, Bluetooth it to the pc. or cut and paste i do
 
Mine is totally underground as I mentioned on that thread. It's full of rubble from the previous owner so there's nothing to see except the steps at the entrance and they aren't too safe now!
