Hi does anyone know anything about a lady named E M Amphlett who I think lived on the Hagley Road at some time and who wrote letters to soldiers during WWI? She may have been connected to the church or to a society called Band of Hope.

There's an Ethel Mary Amphlett who b1874 who is listed on Hagley road in 1891, 1901 & 1911.

She is at 98 Hagley Road on the 1939 register with 2 of her sisters. She appears to have died in 1959.

Many thanks, I had looked but couldn't find her.
