ALL UNDER ONE FLAG

The peace we so seek are not in vain worldly belongings,
But through that which is in our hearts comes such things.
From the beginning of time man has sought it here and there,
Having found many imitations all having turned to despair.
Those who profess love for their neighbours often choose
Their own kind, and in that under taking will often loose
Much peace of mind, as those who have been so neglected
Do in sorrow walk the lonely rom being so sorely affected.

Nation has risen against nation from the beginning of time,
Brother against brother all through their genealogical line.
No nation, kindred tongue or people have desired true peace,
We are all carnally minded and contentions will never cease
Till man turns swords into ploughshares, and believes in God
Who sits in His heaven inconsolable at the blood soaked sod.
Councils and United Nations placing wise men at their head
Learned in wisdom, talking of peace but we still bury our dead.

Man has many God's; all have been prayed to for lasting peace,
In a world that we all have to share seeking our blessed release
From the toils, troubles and heartaches that are all brought about
By the greedy, ambitious and selfish along with the pious devout.
"As shadows fall, O Saviour, turn our minds and thoughts to Thee.
Peace will come to this green earth in Gods own time and grace,
So we ask in all sincerity that we may find our special place".

Our time is not yet; the time of our existence has still to be paid,
Though Romani and Gorja are one brotherhood there is still to be laid
A rom that all may travel in peaceful harmony and in joyous glee,
Remember, there are no boundaries to bar the likes of you and me.
We will sacrifice for all mankind so that trouble and worldly strife
Will be carried upon the shoulders of every man and by every wife.
Therefore let us shake of the trial and tribulation of this world
And under one banner let Romani and Gorja, Muslim and all mankind
March as one people under the flag of brotherhood flying unfurled.

Cromwelll

Perhaps you are right my friend, but where would this world be without hopes and dreams, with a little bit of romance here and there.

Robert I think it is Hope and dreams that has got us in the mess we are into today.Trying to live someone elses dream's and hoping it will work

Perhaps Cromwell

But I think that even you and I share such hopes and dreams for a better world.
One day there will be a people who will have to same hopes and dreams as myself that have
been put into effect. I live in hope hope that I am alive to see it and to take part in it.
The leader of this hoped for dream will be the One who created this world.

The sad part of it all Robert is we all see things so different.
But one broken dream is not the end of dreaming,
One shattered hope is not the end of all,
Beyond the storm and tempest, stars are still gleaming,
Still build your castles, though castles fall..........

The natural flights of the human mind are not from pleasure to pleasure but from hope to hope - Samuel Johnson
