Alcester Lane End Alcester Lane South

Ian FOFB

Brummie yes ! Novice no !
Found an old postcard of Alcester Lane End. Not fully sure where it is / was but Googling seems to throw up that it is now Alcester Road South. I've trawled on Google StreetView but cannot find anything that fits the bill today, there appears to be a large pub by where the tram is. There are several buildings that are likely candidates but I think that most of this scene has been demolished .

The pub is still there and is called the Kings Arms, I understand it is being renamed,it's known to locals as the Knob, due to the shape of the road where the trams used to turn

A couple of shots off Street View,
