  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Our local South Birmingham Meccano Club has been in existence for nearly 50 years. Looking at this simple casher's receipt from around 1983/84, it struck me that although thousands of these must have been issued - very few remain now.
These Cloths would have no doubt been purchased at 814 Stratford Rd, but I also have lived near some of their other branches.
Does anyone have any photos or information about any of their shops.
Are any of their shops still trading? If not when did they close?
