I understand that just recently that English Heritage have recently bought all the stock from the now defunct Aerofilms studio. Much of Aerofilms' commissions were from local authorities who after the war were planning their various expressway schemes particularly here in the Midlands.
As part of the local history network here in Wolverhampton I've seen much of the stock here regarding our own ring-road preparation and construction in the sixties;the copyright is as strict as Fort Knox until English Heritage make it their extension, but the detail is super-duper!
