I am given to understand that my dad, after being evacuated from Dunkirk and discharged due to illness worked at the above bus garage. Is there anyway to confirm this from staff records if they exist.
His name was Victor Hood. 1911-1944.

In those days anyone who worked on the buses was employed by Birmingham Corporation Transport which has long gone sadly. You might get some information by writing to Birmingham Council House but I think you would be wasting your time.

Ob They cojuld still keep their monthly Mag we had in the canteen at Tyburn Road Garage, there should be records may be the library worth a try
