A Nice bus trip from city centre to Aldridge . Passing Newtown/Perry Barr etc

Thanks, that was interesting, it must have been taken before they demolished the flats in Perry Barr.

It was the route of the bus I would get out of town when I was young and lived in Perry Barr. I don't recognise some of the areas now but there are still some landmarks like the Bartons and Trinity Road church!

I was interested in that as well, because I often went through Aldridge on the way to my grandparents at Heath Hayes, and I wanted to see if I could recognise any of the route once out of Brum. In those days though, it was on a green bus run by Harper Bros and it only came in as far as Kingstanding. It went to Cannock via Aldridge, Brownhills, Norton Canes and Heath Hayes where Harpers garage was.
