  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I came across this exam paper from 1934 for sitting the 11 plus..........
 
Well amazingly I know I can answer them all (example 1 chain 22 yrds into 880 yrds equals 1/40)
But then again I am (cough) 39...I'd have hated to have done the buggers at 11!
WHAT am I saying! I did...AND passed!
 
Flipping Heck! I passed my 11+ but I don't remember doing any of this :laugh: I eventually worked out how to do most of the questions with the exception of the chain thingy, but it took a while. I wonder how children of 11 today would be able to do the long division and multiplication questions?
