  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Verity's Limited

    Yes, I worked at Verity's around 1965, in the assembly shop. Mr. Reg Withers was the supervisor. The plating shop was next door and emitted quite a strong odour of chemicals!

    Yes I remember the doctors surgery on the corner. My doctor was MacGregor and I remember a Dr Mayer. I was a patient there between 1953 and 1961. I remember the row of chairs and metal fire guards, also the coloured lights to call each patient. There is only St Albans church left to remind...
