  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Hi again Phil, I am still in touch with Roger Mansell just at christmas mainly. He married later in life and had no children. His mom lived in Reginald Road till she died. Also the two brothers in the flats were Tony and Donald Lattie. I think their father was Italian.

    Hi Phil, I remember you well and your sister Andrea as we lived at 38. Wendy Howkins and brother Graham. Are you still in Somerset? Those pictures of Reginald Road were great with no cars at all. Its not like that now.

    I think you mean Laura Dixons which was above Chetwyns mens shop at the top of Navigation Street. We went jiving there often in the early 60's. Great times.

    Thank you for the wonderful photos of Reginald Road. I lived at number 38 until I got married in 1968. There were very few cars at the time of your photos. My dad had one later, an Anglia. I remember the Guests, think they had a daughter my age.

    It was an old lady called Mrs. Brookes who had the sweet shop and newsagents too. My uncle was the manager of the butchers next to Haynes and the butchers was called Barkers. They hung out all the birds at Christmas etc.
