  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Old Brum

    Does anybody know if the Central Library, or any where else, has any pictures of the old houses that were demolished in the clearances, especially around All Saints, Aston and close to City Centre. Im interested in the Courts, not Law Courts.

    Kingshurst Hall circa 1960's

    Fox and Goose Washwood Heath

    My earliest memory was catching a Tram from the Fox and Goose to city centre with my mother. My next is the Baggott Island watching the Trams turn around on the Island as it had a turn table in the middle, Im not sure if its still there as all they seemed to do was fill it in or so it seemed.
