  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    hi brumgum. thats a great picture,the cafe was on gosta green the houses were in woodcock st. the passage in between lead to the holt brewery stables the building back of the lorry was part of the brewery. terry

    hi ya liz , he was known by all as binky barnes, he was my grand dad, my mother was his eldest daughter, she has just passed away at the age of 97, her funeral is at witton on 8/3/11at 11 am as a family we had some great times at the stag & great friends, miss them all, best wishes terry

    hi dec, i used kryle hall i the late 50,s -60,s it had all you needed ,boxing snooker,table tennis,gim,films,showers open roof area for ball games,and much more,i used to go there for my school dinners, its a great shame it closed down, it realy did keep the kids off the streets , terry
