  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Lucas made electronic assemblies for the car industry, customers were Rover Group and others, the Chief Engineer was John Lewis, and the General Manager was Alex McDonald. I worked there for a while in purchasing around 1988 with Etta Campbell, the site buyer.

    I left ZF as it was after the TRW takeover in 2015 having worked there since 2010. I heard the ZF technical centre as it now is will move to Blythe Business Centre. Pale shadow of Lucas days since I joined the company at Shaftmoor Lane in 1985. Thats progress folks !!
