  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Anybody got info on the Palmer family from Nechells who all worked at 'The Met' from the 1930's through to the 1960s please? Names were Thomas, William, Albert. Thanks.

Hi, my maternal grandmother was adopted by a family from Soho Road/Birmingham area in 1936. Her adoptive father was Thomas Wilson Palmer and a woman called Dora Palmer. They had a son called Wilson Palmer but moved to Wednesbury around 1939. Unsure if this is of any relevance or use to you but thought I may as well try lol
