Amazon supporting

I have only just found this folks hopefully some people will use the link to support the Pen Room which survives by volunteers and donation.

The Pen Museum is a member of the Amazon's Associates scheme. Shop at Amazon via our link and we receive a referral fee of 5% - 10%. What you buy costs the same but we receive the referrers commission. Amazon Associates accounts record items purchased but does not allow us access to customer details, therefore purchases remain anonymous. Thank you for supporting our work. https://www.penroom.co.uk/

I quite often use Amazon and since Wendy posted the above info I have used the Pen Museum link every time. I have always wondered how much the Museum benefited from this so I emailed them yesterday. The secretary Nigel Evans replied within a couple of hours:

In recent times the link has not been used as much. Pay outs from Amazon are triggered at around £25 of advertising earnings and the journey to a pay-out is longer right now. We are certainly retaining the link and grateful for the support. Sadly people do need reminding more often. Of course we would welcome a mention of the link. 12 settlements in 6 years does not seem dramatic but as it is said 'every little helps'

So as a reminder the link is https://www.amazon.co.uk/?tag=thpero-21&linkCode=ur1

There are so many deserving charities and it is hard to make a choice. I decided on Guide Dogs for the blind.
