    What Was The Pub's Name - Shirley

    Hi Bernie Just joined the forum after being away in Oz for a number of years - Yes it was the George and Dragon I lunched there - 'cos I was apprenticed at Archers, wouldnt mind some photos of Archers if you can spare me some copies.Shame the old pub has gone little bit of history lost !

    Archers Garage (Shirley) Ltd

    I would like to find some photos of this (long since gone) business in Shirley it was on Stratford Rd and behind it was the BSA/Lucas factory. Any info and or photos would be appreciated - I served my apprenticeship there from 1966 and they were good times and some great memories.
