  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Thats excellent. Thanks so much. In the early thirties Lilly went from there to Highbury Hall, Moseley, a "Home for Aged Women" and died in 1966 aged 92

    Thats great. The signature at the end of the list of boarders in the 1911 census is Edith Isabella Smerdon and next to that (Crump) so maybe Alice was taking over from Edith Thank you so much, that's a big help

    Hi The 1911 census shows that a distant cousin of mine lived in a residential home on 86 Great Brook Street, Aston, but unfortunately it doesn't give the name of the home. Would anyone be able to help with this please ? Thank you David
