very interested in the history of birmingham as i have been doing some research on my farther's family Smith that originally came from the moseley area. I found a large number of old photographs and letters written between my great grandfather who settled on the farm where i am still located and his father a mr charles cox smith. i first became aware of your forum when i was searching for my great great grandparents house called the dingle - from his letters i gathered that they lived there in the early 1880s to about 1903. i would love to be able to ask in your forum about the history of this home and surrounding area.
