  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Yes you are right.......It was Sunday nights! Last year i went to see John Mayall and band near Melbourne. (He was here for the Byron Bay Blues festival held annually)...He was in the foyer of this venue signing and promoting the new c.d I mentioned i had seen him at Mothers way back...

    As a youngster i remember seeing Villa beat Leicester 8-3 Easter 63....I recall it was a shilling to stand on the Witton end... I remember this because i said to my mate........That was great value.....About a penny a goal!!! Things were definately better back then............

    My late Dad went to Deykin Ave School probably 1930 to 1938..... The family lived at 130 Wyreley Rd......Sam/Beatrice.. Len, Vic, Charlie, Jean and Colin Pendry. Grandad Sam belonged to the Barn for most of his life.
