  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

tidy up please

Josie, I think this is quite a difficult task, there is hardly any detail in this photo to recover. Can you scan the photo again at a higher resolution say at least 300dpi

how on earth do you experts do that froth...wonderful thank you...the photo only came to me after giving up of ever finding one and is the only one i know to of my grandad albert ernest wood who was in the RFA during WW1..over the moon to have it...he is back row first left...

I'm no expert Lyn, an expert would do it a lot better. I enjoy doing the best I can. It was in a state though

i know its in a state froth...its falling apart so its in a folder now..i will now print off and frame...thanks again still cant believe ive got it...

thanks lynne...our dad left me in charge of all the old family black and whites but my sister has turned up about 6 that i didnt know about and as luck would have it grandads photo was one of them...

img477.jpg another one just come to light....would appreciate a tidy up on this one please folks...cutting from the sports argus showing the presentation of the aston darts league trophy...our dad george harrington is right at the back in the middle wearing dark tie..no date but im guessing sometime in the 60s..
