I lived in Romsley Road from 1951. Looking at the photo of St. Michael's choir, the houses had just been built. George Keay lived across the road from us and Brian Rollason lived a few houses below us half way down Romsley Road. Brian left school and worked for Jones, the Coalman who had his coal-yard in Jiggins lane opposite where the Doctors surgery is now. I think the yard still exists but don't know what is there now. Brian worked as a bus driver for many years once the coal yard closed down. I think Malcolm Cutler lived at number 8 Carmel Grove
