    If any members of BHF also have a Facebook account,-- there is an interesting group on Facebook called Rubery Past. (just put it into the search box). There are loads of old photos of Rubery/Rednal/Lickey Hills, with lots of memories about buildings now gone, past carnivals, school photos (you could be on them), local characters etc. i think anyone with links to or an interest in the Rubery area will find it interesting.

    There are quite a number of groups on Facebook with an interest in Birmingham and there are loads of pictures, many private photo's so not seen before, I visit a number of them daily and among the chit chat, swearing and other rubbish, (go straight to photo's to avoid) there often some good information, a number of our members contribute to these groups,
