GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN R.I.P.
Look, Listen, Enjoy.

Sitting here upon the ground
Listening to each and every sound
Leaves dancing to the breeze
As the wind plays with the trees
Tinkling water over pebbles in the stream
Adding more sound to natures dream
Creaking branches in the touch of rain
Playing a haunting refrain

Silent clouds dance across a blue sky
The patter of rain as they begin to cry
The thunder rumbles deep and loud
Reverberating from cloud to cloud
The distant chatter of tremulous birds
From their slumber now is stirred -

The lake heaves with a sob and sigh.
Lightening streaks across the sky
All around me the wind is blowing
In front of me, the river rapidly flowing

As raindrops hit the ground they prance -
Everywhere I turn bushes dance.

I stand here - the storm calls to me
Nature says let her be!

And I, compelled, cannot turn away.
I know her tempest will end by day.

The storm surrounds me as I turn -
The storm envelops me - my passions burn!.

When suddenly as if cheated
Sheeted lightening retreated
Frustrated by the winds resistance
Thunder rolls away in the distance
And in the dark east expanded high
The rainbow brightens up the sky!

Very real John ....captured just so as I recall a thunder storm.....pictures in my mind. No thunder here at the moment just rain pouring down almost every day, well not all day but through the nights.

Thanks for this.
