Can anyone tell what happened here , where did the bomb drop , if half of the house was blasted away why isn’t the bus in two pieces , we’re there any casualties involved BDA5C7F8-1F6F-4717-A561-DD456D3D406C.jpeg

The second photo in the other post shows the crater in the road towards the gap with the other houses. The house in the first pic was blast damaged from the high explosive bomb.

I notice there is a faulty link in the other post which I can't correct because the thread has for some reason been locked,

The bus, 814 - BOP814, was withdawn after the raid but was back in service 1st, January, 1942 having been the first to be fitted with bodies originally due to be fitted to Manchester Corporation. They were spare due their chassis being destroyed in a raid in Daimler's Coventry works.
