Stephen Mills, Ironmongery

I am trying to find out any information about my 3 x great grandfather. He was born in 1797 in Coventry and died 1875 in Birmingham. He was married to Ann Newey who was the sister of James George Newey who was partner in the company Newey Bros. I am trying to establish a link between the two families business wise. I believe they may at one time had a business together trading as Mills Newey but I cannot seem to find any information about this company. Stephen Mills son Stephen James Mills was also an ironmonger. Thank you.

The trade directories seem just to list Stepehn Mills as an ironmonger at 78 Smallbrook Street.
Similarly they list James George Newey separately.
