Just done a search using Yahoo for Stechford Hall, it throws up a Stechford Hall Asylum, not sure of the details as the web page it brings up wont open. Don't know if this will help or hinder but might be worth investigating.

on the 1891 census William Whiteley was a Gardener and his address was Stechford Hall. Can anyone tell me where this was please? I have searched the forum but can't find anything.

Stechford Hall by Bill Dargue…

Stechford Hall Park which I presume was the surrounds of Stechford Hall has its' gate in Stechford road about a mile from its' junction with Bromford Lane or alternatively can be accessed from Coleshill Road just up from the fox and goose pub.
