The Council Offices in Handsworth on Soho Road were, in 1934, being used as a college; the School of Dress Design, Embroidery and Weaving. It was a department of the Central School of Arts and Crafts. I don't know if the college occupied the whole building, but most probably only a part of it. Viv.
