Just started researching the Pegg family who lived in Nechells, bham late nineteenth century, onwards.
John Pegg & Sarah Pegg (kendrick) lived in coleman st nechells/duddeston in 1881. I don't think coleman st survives anymore. any ideas where it was situated?
Anyone with any connection to the Peggs or any information on John and Sarah's family ?
Lydia pegg b-1859.
Sarah pegg b-1861.
John pegg b-1862.
Rosannah pegg b-1871 (my grandmother).
William pegg b-1876.
Jane pegg b-1879.
Much appreciated.
STEVE.

Don't put it past me STEVE DONE LOADS OF THINGS THAT EMBARRASS MY HUSBAND. Not rude things though. Jean.

As one of the Pegg's of Bham I wonder if there is anyway that I can help with your quest and maybe you may have some informatin that may prove to be useful to myself. I was born in Winson Green (John James) in 1935 my father was Alfred William and mother was Maria they were married in Aston and lived in Brearley Street. My father died when I was about 2 years of age and later we went to live in Deritend where I spent the whole of school years. I know that I had a uncle William Pegg who live in West Holme Small Heath togethet with my aunt May and their children William, Margaret(Peggy) and Violet, and also my grandmother Caroline.
Also with West Holme live other relative of mine uncle Jack and aunt Lili
with their children Joan, John.
I don't know if this of any use to you or if there could be any connection between the the two families. If you feel ther is a need to discuss further you could contact me by I. M.
