Any info appreciated on the off licence-Victoria wines at corner of Osborn and Benton Rd
Finally does anybody remember the off licence on Grace Rd run by a very elderly couple and near Montgomery School?
I recall both from late 70s early 80s

I lived on Osborn Road upto 1965 and I used to go to that off-licence with my friend who lived on Walford Road to get beer for his father in a jug; it was an Ansell's house and was run by two sisters but I do not know their names.

In the 1969 Kelly's it shows Mrs J M Tyler wines & spirits at 100 Osborn Rd

12 Grace Road Morris's wine & spirits

Anyone remember the off licence in Tillingham Street? It was opposite No 10 where my grandparents lived. I recall being given some money and a jug and given the job of going over the road to get it filled with Mild. Grandfather would put the filled jug in the hearth by the fire to warm before he had a drink.
