Way back in 2014 I posted a link to some 'non-birmingham' colour photos taken on their honeymoon road trip around England a month before WW2 started. It seems that the Daily Mail still has them! Click the link if you want to look at them ....

Even further back in 2012 I posted this. I feel sad looking at the little girl selling cordial. Life was hard for many folk in those 'good old days'.
