Motor Cycles at the NEC

Heartland

master brummie
This year the Motorcycle Show at the NEC has some former local manufacturer names on show till November 27th. Motorcycles made in India have for a long time included Royal Enfield and now the Mahindra Group has a stand in the name of BSA is Back where new Goldstar bikes can be seen as well as heritage cycles from the Small Heath factory.

Ariel is there too with new motorcycles made at their Somerset Factory as well as heritage motorcycles from the Selly Oak factory and an early car,

Perhaps the most fascinating stand is the display of custom-made motorbikes where people have come to build a unique bike. The most unique is a steam powered cycle that burns coal and was made in Selby, Yorkshire, in 2021.

a lot better than the arial 3 and pixie that was once on show:grinning:
