  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

My father, Lieutenant William Rawson, served with the Canadian 1st Hussars in Europe WW2, after training at Sandringham. He was wounded in France or Germany and captured, and subsequently ended up being sent to Marston Green. I don’t know any other details other than I have his army trunk with his name, the number 0-91, and a shipping label affixed saying Canadian General Hospital,
Marston Green, Narwicks.
Can anyone offer some advice as to how I can find out more details as to when he was at Marston Green and any other info I can acquire?

If you use the search button and put in Canadian General Hospital Marston Green there is some information there.

Sorry to be a pest, but I did as you suggested and seem to be in a loop, coming back to your much-appreciated reply to my post. I’m assuming you mean the Search icon in the blue header bar?
