Many thanksAppear to have started out as Kings Norton Metal Company and they seem to have had a site at/near Lifford. Mentioned on the occasion of a royal visit. If this is where the mint was, not sure but this site appears to be on this map from 1904 (bottomiddle)...

Many thanks Master brummie spot on.This was the site of the mint, established 1911, hough it also manufactured metal strip for cartidges. It seems to manufactured pennies, halfpennies and farthings , and 5 million were madde in 1918 and 1919, all distinguished by having KN next to the date. The firm were absorbed by Kynochs in 1918 , becoming ICI in 1926, and in 1930 the mint and cartridge machinary was transferred to Witton
