Griffin

Brummie babby
Griffin family from aston, Nechells area with patrearchs Christopher, Shederick (Shadrach)
from mid 1800s onwards. One branch moved to Sheffield circa late 1800s.
Paul Anthony Griffin is my direct line.
They lived in a back court off Long acre which I visited some years ago to find not much of the area
standing. I have visited the BacktoBacks in the city to get a feel of conditions.
Victoria Place off Rocky Lane is also of interest.
If any members can share info/anecdots to help me understand big city living in the Victorian
era then I would be very grateful.
I live in Luton.
Regards
