Cheslin - Balsall Heath

Weoley

knowlegable brummie
I am interested in any descendants of the Chesln family who mostly lived in and around the Balsall Heath area in the late 19th century and early/mid 20th. My Grandmother was Maud Cheslin born 1911. From census records there seem to have been a lot of them.

I lived in Balsall Heath and a close neighbour was called Jessie Cheslin. Don't know if there is any connection. Jill.

My mothers maiden name was cheslin, she had a lot of brothers and sisters, my mom was born 1939, I'd like to find out more about my family. Any information back will be greatly received
