  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

These are memories of the bull ring wxworks given in 1971. As one of the repondents is talking of when she was young, and she was then 85, I suspect that none of our members will remember it. unfortunately i don't have the original article . Must have not got the Mail that day.

Enjoyed reading those memories Mike, I didn't know there were any waxworks in the Bull ring, something else I've learnt, thanks for posting them.
 
Here's the Waxworks building - right-hand side. It must have later become the Oswald Bailey shop. Sorry no date for the image. Viv.
