Hi all, does anyone remember the barbers opposite the Stockland pub called Brian's, use to be the fishmongers shop.

I certainly remember Brains. His shop used to be above the lades hairdressers that was the last shop on the left on Slade Road. He them set up his own shop on March Lane opposite the Plaza.

Quite a decent guy.

Yes you've got it. I bumped into him and his wife a couple of months ago, he is not in good health. Yes nice friendly man. I used to have my hair cut by him from 1973 till 1980. Myself and my mate John Welch from Kingstanding would visit the shop at least twice a year. If he saw our lorry pull up on the car park, he would run to the door and put the CLOSED sign up.
