Birmingham International Station

Heartland

As noted in a previous thread this station was completed in 1976, but unlike the view that shows the Maglev Bridge over the road this was the view when first completed.

The station has changed over time, but still retains the 4 platform arrangement. There is space for a fifth. In these times there was a Red Star parcel office on platform 1 and facing the road.

Amazing to think that a place this new already has its own history of its past. I've been there a few times, but had forgotten when it looked like this!
