  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

this is lancaster st welfare centre which provided a most important role in looking after babies and young children...luckily its still there also below the st view link is a link to a site i have only recently found out about...some of the photos are brilliant but they are random so scroll up and down so that you dont miss any..when you click on a photo click again on it top right hand and it will enlarge..you can search the site for various places

i remember going there with mom for the malt, tinned milk and codliver oil.
