Nice Site For Brummies

The whole was an interesting read but the salient part for me is the outlined details why Birmingham, rather than other established cities or large towns, became the industrial hub that it did.
 
Postie, I really enjoyed the link on Post 1 but I haven't finished it yet. I shall do so later. However, do you know what 'reed' is please? I see that it's served with cowtail which I presume is oxtail to us. I well remember oxtail stew and it's one of the things I miss most as a veggie, that and bacon sarnies. Oh and .......
